Medical-Device Material Inquiries

A proposed material must be identified by composition, product form, surface condition and intended use. Material supply does not by itself establish suitability for a medical or implantable device.

Identify any patient-contact, biocompatibility, sterilization, traceability and regulatory requirements with the device manufacturer. Available material data and project support must be confirmed before an order or qualification commitment.

Send the intended use, drawing, material requirements, dimensions, exposure and processing conditions, required documentation and acceptance tests.
