Material inquiries for aircraft, UAV and other aerospace or defense projects require the customer’s specification and qualification plan.
NCC and CCA conductors may be considered for project-specific evaluation. Material selection must identify the conductor form, core and outer-layer requirements, and intended function.
Confirm electrical and mechanical loads, temperature exposure, joining, insulation, corrosion and any radiation requirement. Applicable military, aviation and customer requirements must be identified for the exact part and assembly. A material description is not an end-product approval.
